Nano Banana API Pricing Compared (November 2026): Google, Replicate, fal, Kie.ai and More
Per-image prices for Nano Banana, Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro across Google's Gemini API, Replicate, fal, Kie.ai, NanoBananaAPI.ai and Nano Banana API, each checked against the provider's own pricing page.
Nano Banana is Google's image model family, and you can call it from at least half a dozen APIs. The per-image price differs by up to 3× between them, and the cheapest provider changes with the model and resolution.
This page lists the price of one generated image on each provider, taken from each provider's own pricing page on November 1, 2026. Every row links to its source. We run Nano Banana API, so we are one of the providers in the table. We list the cases where we are not the cheapest too.
The short answer
- Nano Banana (Gemini 2.5 Flash Image): Kie.ai and NanoBananaAPI.ai are cheapest at about $0.02. We charge $0.031; Google, Replicate and fal charge about $0.039–$0.040.
- Nano Banana 2 (Gemini 3.1 Flash Image): at 1K, we, Kie.ai and NanoBananaAPI.ai are all around $0.04. At 2K and 4K we are cheapest at $0.049 and $0.063, against $0.101 and $0.151 on Google.
- Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image): we are cheapest at $0.076 for 1K/2K and $0.099 for 4K. Google charges $0.134 and $0.24; Replicate and fal charge $0.15 and $0.30.
Our prices assume our $44.90 Pro plan and are for text-to-image. Read what our prices assume before comparing: on our smallest monthly plan we cost more than Google, and image editing costs more on our API (see Price is not the only difference).

Google's Batch API halves its price to $0.0195 if you can wait for results. For a one-off text-to-image job at this size, Kie.ai or NanoBananaAPI.ai costs less than we do.

How we got the fal numbers: fal lists $0.08 per image and charges 1.5× for 2K and 2× for 4K. Kie.ai says larger top-ups add a 10% credit bonus, which brings its 1K price to about $0.036, below ours at the Pro plan rate.
Google also lists a 0.5K (512 px) size at $0.045. We do not offer 0.5K.

Kie.ai publishes one Pro price (about 24 credits) and does not break it down by resolution on that page. fal charges double for 4K.
What our prices assume
We sell prepaid credits, so our per-image price depends on the plan. All of our USD figures above use our Pro plan at $44.90 for 10,000 credits ($0.00449 per credit).

Two things follow from this table:
- On the Lite plan we cost more than Google for every model. Lite is for trying the API, not for saving money.
- From the $24.90 Pro plan up, every model is below Google's list price. Yearly billing costs 50% less than monthly for the same monthly credits.
We also sell one-time credit packs, which cost the same or less per credit than the monthly plan at the same price: $13.90 for 2,500 credits ($0.0056 per credit), $44.90 for 10,000 ($0.0045), up to $529.90 for 160,000 ($0.0033).
New accounts get 20 free credits, enough for two Nano Banana 2 1K test images.
Price is not the only difference
Before you switch providers for a few cents, check that the API does what you need:
- Editing and reference images. Google, Replicate, fal and Kie.ai accept input images for editing. Our prices above are for our Relay endpoint, which takes a text prompt only. Editing with up to 10 reference images runs on our standard endpoint at higher prices: Nano Banana costs 11 credits (about $0.049) and Nano Banana Pro 50 credits at 1K/2K and 66 at 4K (about $0.22 and $0.30). Nano Banana 2 has no editing on our API yet. If editing is most of your work, Kie.ai, NanoBananaAPI.ai or Google will cost less.
- Newer, cheaper Google models. Google also lists Nano Banana 2.1 ($0.0336 at 1K, $0.0504 at 2K, $0.113 at 4K) and Nano Banana 2 Lite ($0.0336 at 1K). We do not offer them. If those models fit your work, Google's own API may be cheapest.
- Batch discounts. Google's Batch API halves prices for jobs that can wait. We do not offer a batch discount.
- Failed requests. We pre-charge credits when a task is accepted and refund them automatically if it fails. Retries with the same
Idempotency-Keyreturn the original task, so a network error never bills you twice. Check how each provider handles failures before running at volume. - API shape. How we checked
- All prices are list prices from each provider's public page on November 1, 2026, before tax and without volume deals. We first collected them on October 29 and re-checked every row on November 1; none had changed.
- "Per image" means one generated output image. Google bills Nano Banana 2 and Pro by output tokens; we used the per-image equivalents Google publishes.
- Prices change often. If a provider has changed its price since this date, its own page is the source of truth.

On November 1, 2026, our API had the lowest Nano Banana Pro text-to-image price we found: $0.076 per 1K or 2K image and $0.099 per 4K image on our $44.90 Pro plan. NanoBananaAPI.ai was next at $0.09 and $0.12. Google's own price is $0.134 and $0.24.
What is the cheapest Nano Banana 2 API?
At 1K, Kie.ai, NanoBananaAPI.ai and our API all charge about $0.04. Kie.ai's top-up bonus can bring it to about $0.036. At 2K and 4K our API is cheapest at $0.049 and $0.063, versus $0.06 and $0.09 on Kie.ai and NanoBananaAPI.ai.
Is Replicate or fal cheaper for Nano Banana?
For the original Nano Banana they are about the same: $0.039 on Replicate and $0.0398 on fal. For Nano Banana 2, Replicate matches Google's prices and fal charges about 6–20% more. For Nano Banana Pro, both charge $0.15 at 1K/2K and $0.30 at 4K, above Google's $0.134 and $0.24.
